Gare du Nord, uh oh, l'est

So. I arrived by rail in Paris via Gare du Nord. For some reason I though I'd be leaving Paris to Frankfurt from the same place. I saw the Rail europe trains there when I arrived at Gare du Nord didn't I? I'm in my uber on my way to my outbound train at Gare du Nord and we pass a station called Gare de L'est. I check my ticket and see the three letters EST next to my booking. We immediately destroy red and made my train. If by some luck we didn't pass that station, I would have missed my train. I'd like to thank the Paris travel fairy that was watching out for me.

Frankfurt am Main

Schön, Sie kennenzulernen.

Many people ask me why I chose the financial capital of Germany as the place of my first visit to this county. Simple answer, cheap flight. Downtown Frankfurt am Main (pronounced mine) has the tick and timing of a financial district. Most people have left for the day by 5pm and the city slows down. The shopping center The Zeil seemed to be the bustling social gathering place. I particularly enjoyed the views from Leonhard on the 7th floor of the Galeria Kaufhof. In the not so distant future Cologne and Berlin are on deck.

Les Misérables

The London cast was exceptional. This was the most intimate performance I'd ever seen of Les Misérables. Haven't seen it since my 20's I think. So glad to have had this opportunity.
