This is the first year I did not get to march with Apple since we started participating in SF Pride. While I was a bit sad to not be marching, it was nice to see the parade this year.

Gare du Nord, uh oh, l'est
So. I arrived by rail in Paris via Gare du Nord. For some reason I though I'd be leaving Paris to Frankfurt from the same place. I saw the Rail europe trains there when I arrived at Gare du Nord didn't I? I'm in my uber on my way to my outbound train at Gare du Nord and we pass a station called Gare de L'est. I check my ticket and see the three letters EST next to my booking. We immediately destroy red and made my train. If by some luck we didn't pass that station, I would have missed my train. I'd like to thank the Paris travel fairy that was watching out for me.
