Mary Lambert Today Morrissey Tomorrow

Will it really come? And if it does come will I still be human?

I’m achieving ex-factor concert attendance lately. And clearly I’m full of timely and seasonally appropriate puns this evening-morning.

Monday - Mary Lambert, Tuesday - Morrissey, Wednesday - Mid-Term, Thursday - is Morrissey, by Friday life has killed me, by Friday life has killed me.

Hokkaido Cream

I picked up some of these pastries while in Seattle last week. I didn’t know what to expect but they are extremely delicious and perfect with coffee. And is that not just the perfect bite 😀

Beth’s 24 Hour - Seattle

Had a late dinner with my friend Scott at Beth’s in Seattle last night. After enjoying our meal and checking out the crayon art work all over the walls we went up to pay the check. As I approach the counter the young lady let me know a really cool guy came in and paid all the checks for everyone in the restaurant. All they ask is that you tip your server and smile. I’d never had this happen before. What a really cool feeling! Thank you guy for dinner and bringing some joy into this crazy world.

W

First time staying at a W. So far I’m impressed. I was upgraded at check in and, oddly enough, I didn’t like room. I’ve never asked for another room before. But this one had a bad vibe to it. I let them know that there’s  nothing wrong with the room I just didn’t like the light. They immediately put me in an ocean view on the 24th floor. Pretty rad if you ask me.

I need to clear my head, do homework, and shop. Item one is the priority. It remains to be seen if the other two will happen.

Train rides are my preferred method of quiet contemplation. There’s nothing quite like listening to The Smiths while staring out the window and watching the beautiful Pacific Northwest go by.
