Morrissey

I managed to shake Mr. Steven Patrick Morrissey’s hand tonight at his Portland show at the Schnitz. The first time was at the Roseland just 7 days shy of 10 years ago, today. What an amazing night! The man sounded strong and beautiful as ever.

I couldn’t have asked for a better concert mate than my Aunt Whitney whom I left abandoned 10 rows behind so I could chase this opportunity. Thank you Whitney. I love you.

She graciously captured some shots of my experience.

Shaking Morrissey’s Hand

Mary Lambert Today Morrissey Tomorrow

Will it really come? And if it does come will I still be human?

I’m achieving ex-factor concert attendance lately. And clearly I’m full of timely and seasonally appropriate puns this evening-morning.

Monday - Mary Lambert, Tuesday - Morrissey, Wednesday - Mid-Term, Thursday - is Morrissey, by Friday life has killed me, by Friday life has killed me.

Hokkaido Cream

I picked up some of these pastries while in Seattle last week. I didn’t know what to expect but they are extremely delicious and perfect with coffee. And is that not just the perfect bite 😀

Beth’s 24 Hour - Seattle

Had a late dinner with my friend Scott at Beth’s in Seattle last night. After enjoying our meal and checking out the crayon art work all over the walls we went up to pay the check. As I approach the counter the young lady let me know a really cool guy came in and paid all the checks for everyone in the restaurant. All they ask is that you tip your server and smile. I’d never had this happen before. What a really cool feeling! Thank you guy for dinner and bringing some joy into this crazy world.
