Occasionally the stars and planets align in particfular fashion to allow for a morning together where neither of us has to work or attend school.

Catching Up
I'm spending a few days away from work & school, away from any obligation whatsoever in order to catch up on life a bit. The past 12 months have been a roller-coaster ride and I don’t know that I would have it any other way. Here are some things for which I’m most grateful.
My sons
Miko - I don’t know of a harder working kid with such a bright future. He’s up at 4am every morning. You just might be wearing his designs one day.
Ethan - A compassionate soul with a keen wit who’s kindess towards others inspires me every day. He reminds me of what it is to be a gentleman.
Cameron - Played his Euphonium at the Walt Disney Conert Hall and he marched at Disneyland with Evergreen Marching Band. His confidence is something to behold.
The Work
I couldn’t be more thankful and lucky to work with some amazing people. I must have done something good to end up amongst these folks. Proof that one way to improve is to surround your self with excellent people.
School
Finished my first year at PSU. I worked full time and attended school full time. Going back to university has been everything I thought it could be and more. I find I’m in a place to not only learn for myself, but to help others. Somehow, I pulled off a 4.0 GPA for the year.
Pets
Hugo the dog and Ari the cat are living with the boys and their mom now. Hugo’s taking care of them and being a great companion for the kids and their mom as she continues chemotherapy. Ari is an excpetional dog friend and hunter. Hugo’s absence from my daily life left an significant void, so here I am a year and half later a new furry friend has entered my life and I couldn’t be more thankful. Welcome home Finn.
Music
I’ve learned and played several songs this year and I’m building my singing confidence. Once I graduate, performance is the plan. More to come.
Pride
It took me a long time to accept who I am. Now more than ever I’m reminded of the things that kept me from realizing my potential. This year, LGBTQ Pride has new meaning for me. I will march with Apple for the 3rd year in San Francisco and I will stand proud, confident and strong with my fellow humans with honor and reverance to all of those we have lost to hatred and evil. Love will always conquer hate.
